In the first (and possibly last and only) episode of the Silver and Gold Podcast, Roy and Jay Discuss and review Booster Gold #1 (from February 1986 and written and drawn by Dan Jurgens with inks by Mike DeCarlo, colors by Tom Ziuko and letters by Augustin Mas) and Captain Atom #1 (from March 1987 and written by Cary Bates with pencils by Pat Broderick, inks by Bob Smith, colors by Carl Gafford, and letters by John Costanza). The Silver and Gold theme song is Heart of Gold by the Roy Clark Method. 
This podcast was inspired by Shag and Rob of The Fire and Water Podcast. If response to the podcast is positive, we will continue recording and make this a regular show.

Sumisjc is an Indian artist I found on deviantart. Of this piece he says, “[Now here is another Poster which I made for My one of the Favourite superhero ‘Captain Atom’ his name is what got me. there is a very rare chance WB/DC even use him in Movies (although he is same as ‘Dr.Manhattan’ from Watchmen) So if they Ever made his movie then I want “Joe Johnston” to direct it he got the tone for this character. I don’t got anyone as casting for this movie.]” Clearly English isn’t his/her first language, but you get the idea. The poster is beautiful.
And there is a blue variant as well.

According to his web site, Chris Drury is a Leeds-based artist with a love of movies, music, TV, and comic books, among many other things (such as the Flash, Ginger Joe’s Ginger Beer, frozen grapes, long walks, rusks, the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Brother’s Toffee Apple Cider, King of the Hill, excercising, Spider-Man, Archer, Jo Bradley’s home-made chips, etc., etc.). This cute Captain Atom scketch and many more can be ordered through his web site.

I found this Captain Atom sketch by Jason Sturgill on tumblr.com. According to his web site, Jason is a commercial artist and educator based in Portland, Oregon with a background in advertising, graphic design and curatorial. It is unclear which version of Cap this is, but it most closely resembles the Modern Age Captain Atom. It is a pretty cool example of Sturgill’s work.
