Hey, I’ve just started listening to your podcast. I’m on episode 5 at the moment. First of all, thanks for doing a pod about one of my favorite characters. I’ve been a fan of Captain Atom for many years now. I’ve only read a couple of issues from the old series, so I find the pod and also this blog a great source of information on his earlier appearances. Thank you very much for doing this and I hope you continue.
I’m not really a big Booster fan, but I enjoy your recaps and reviews of his earlier adventures. They certainly made me appreciate the character more.
As to the format, I must say I liked the shorter episodes which deal with one issue at a time. Then again, I understand the purpose of going back to the longer format because of the dual subject matter of Booster and Cap. Ultimately, it’s not an issue, because I can just pause after part one and resume later.
I think you should consider talking about Firestorm too. While I understand that there’s already a podcast covering him, I don’t think there’s a problem in having more opinions on him. In the end it helps popularize the character even more.
Especially since Roy clearly likes to talk about him. Wouldn’t mind hearing his opinions on the old Firestorm series. Maybe just a special episode covering the character’s history with some reading recommendations.
Looking forward to next episodes. Keep up the good work and best wishes.
