Really special episode Jay! Very touching recollections. Got me in the feels. I lost a sister myself, so can relate on some levels. Great show.
Then Roy embarrassed himself in the feedback by saying Firestorm’s 40th anniversary is in 2018. Geez Roy, Firestorm came out in December of 1977, regardless of the cover date. Shame!!

Poor Roy. We actually recorded that feedback section on April 24. It would have been a good thing to bring up when we spoke, but the timing just didn’t work out right.
I didn’t promote this episode. I didn’t tweet it out or post it on Facebook. I just quietly slipped it in. I didn’t want it to appear as if I was using Chris to gain listeners but at the same time I felt I really had to have this record out there. I figured if people liked it and shared it then that would be awesome. If they didn’t, oh well. At least I got the weight off my chest.
I’m sorry to hear about your sister. As I’m sure you well know, there really just aren’t enough words to say. Or the right ones.
